With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Martin Oscars Crawford of Waterloo, Iowa, born in Ames, Iowa, who passed away on October 20, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Martin and Esther Martin (Jackman); and her siblings, Paul Victor, Norman, Jerry and Ruth Martin Riffe.
She is survived by: her former husband Frederick Harold Oscars; her spouse Cullen Crawford; her children, Julie of Mattydale, Frederick, Jr., Gregory of Waterloo and David (Rose) of Odenton, Maryland; and her sisters, Pauline Martin of Ames, Paula L. Freeman of Ames, Marie Mancuso (Joe) of Ames and Mary Carr. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Calvary United Methodist Church.
