She is survived by: her husband Donald Gleason; her children, Suzanne Gleason of Bethesda, Donna Kassar (Mohyeddin) of Hillside, Andrew Gleason (Michelle) of McCordsville and Brian Gleason (Sarah) of O'Fallon, Missouri; her grandchildren, Hannah Sanghvi, Jumana, Hafsa (Stephanie Sokolyk), Laila, Suha, Houmam Kassar, Alexander Hutt, Mason (Jules), Erin, Brent Gleason, Seth and Sullivan Gleason; her siblings, James Penning (Margaret) of Grand Meadow, Lee Penning (Donna) of Campbell, Lyle Penning (Vickie), Roy Penning (Monica) of Clear Lake, Rita Fox (Jim) of Wabasha, Linda Hale of Rochester Minnesota and Norma Gregory (Gene) of Tacoma, Washington.; and also Weston Gleason.
A rosary was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 3:45 PM at the Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service (400 South St, Waterloo, IA 50701). Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Edward Catholic Church (1423 Kimball Ave, Waterloo, IA 50701).
