She was predeceased by: her parents, John Mrzlak and Catherine Dolan Mrzlak; her brother Tony; her parents-in-law, Elmer and Leona Joens; and her siblings-in-law, Donna Joens and Larry Joens.
She is survived by: her husband Robert of LaPorte City; her children, James, Gary Joens (Lenora) of Colorado Springs, Jeffrey Joens of Salina, Kevin Joens (Gwen) of Fredericksburg, Debbie Kressley (Kevin) of Waterloo, Suzette Hatcher of Prescott and Angela Hastings of Colorado Springs, Colo.; her siblings, Mike Mrzlak (Carolyn) of Waterloo, Johnny Mrzlak (Billie) of Waterloo, Pat Mrzlak (Judy) of Denver, Tim Mrzlak of Dike, Mary Baker (Michael) of Cedar Falls, Kitty Jensen (Dick) of Waterloo, Mugs Langan (Steve) of Waterloo and Marilyn Woodbury (John) of Waterloo; and her siblings-in-law, David Joens of Waterloo, Kenneth Joens (Maureen) of Portal, Ariz., Nannette Joens of Cedar Rapids and Carol Chapman (Larry) of New Hartford. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
