With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara J. Smith (Waterloo, Iowa), born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on November 9, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Byron Wilson and Sarah Wilson (Scheffers); her former husband Leonard Philp; her husband David Smith March; her children, Michael Philp and Carol Bernard; her son-in-law Jon Bernard; and her brother Patrick Quigley.
She is survived by: her stepfather Henry Quigley; her daughters, Patti Hinz (David) of Waterloo and Karen Keefe (Shawn) of Waterloo; and her grandchildren, Angie Brincks, Mike Hall, Josh Keefe, Chris, Elizabeth, Amanda, Matt Bernard, Carrie Gray and Sarah Thomson. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
