He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray DeSerano and Eugenia DeSerano (Domagalski); his wife Joan Mae Burt; his son Craig DeSerano; his brother Raymond DeSerano; and his half-sister Rachel Stein.
He is survived by: his sons, Steve DeSerano (Karen) of Cedar Falls and Kevin DeSerano (Karen) of Evansdale; his grandchildren, Katelin, Kristen, Bradley, Jordan, Kelli and Danielle; and his great grandchildren, Peter, Gregory and Nick.
