He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Jones and Lena (Opperman); his sister Sue Potter; his nephew Eric Shock; his great-nephew Calvin Jones; and his sisters-in-law, Teresa Shock and Pat Shock.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Potter (Shock); his daughters, Rebecca Hatcher (Edward) and Katelyn Potter; his grandchildren, Owen and Leadyn Hatcher; his great grandchild Kado Scott; and his siblings, Greg Potter (Julie), Nadine Martinez, Angela Jones-Spray (Larry), Kevin Shock (Vicki), Kenny Shock and Jason (Andrea). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
