Arnold Freilinger Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arnold Freilinger of Waterloo, Iowa, born in Waukon, Iowa, who passed away on January 30, 2023 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Merlin T. Freilinger and Phyllis L. Freilinger (Frozene); and his sisters, Bernice, Nancy Freilinger and Annette Thorpe.

He is survived by: his wife Debbie Bogardus; his daughter Courtney Smith (Corelly Sr.) of Waterloo; his grandchildren, Isiah, Corelly Jr. and Malik; his great grandchild Zay; his siblings, Mark Freilinger of Marshalltown, Theresa Harken (Keith) of Waterloo, Diane Twait of Forest City, Lisa Shadow of Waterloo, Debbie Graveman of Waverly and Colleen Robinson of Creve Coeur, Illinois; and his brother-in-law Bill Thorpe of Waterloo. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces.
