He was predeceased by: his parents, Mae Bienfang and Wilford Bienfang; his son Curtis Bienfang; and his siblings, George, Harold, Kenneth, Wilber, Wanda, Evelyn and Marcella.

He is survived by: his children, Brian (Tara) of Tucson, AZ, Brad (Brandi) of Dike, IA, Arlon Jr. (Jean) of Surprise, AZ, Darrin of Waterloo, IA and Vicki Addison (Tavis) of Lake Villa, IL.; his great grandchild Arlon; and his brother Vern Bienfang of Minnesota. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
