She was predeceased by: her parents, Augustine McDermott and Viola McDermott (Cox); her husband Vincent; and her brother Lawrence. She is survived by: her children, Michelle Matheny (Jeff) of Van Horne and Doug Welter of Vinton; her grandchildren, Tony Olson, Tamie Matheny (Paul Erger) and Matt Matheny (Stephanie); her great grandchildren, Tate Kettler, Ashlyn Erger, Caden Erger, Nate Makayla, Gabe Matheny Makayla and Makenna Olson; her brothers, Richard McDermott (Marie) and William McDermott (Donna); and her sister-in-law Lenora McDermott. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
