He is survived by: his parents, Alonzo Curtis Stokes, Sr. and Josephine Lofton; his wife Valerie Rochell Stokes; his children, Shateasha Shavon Stokes, Alanza Zantria Stokes, Alonda Javon Thompson and Alonzo Curtis Stokes, IV; his grandchildren, Jaucquon Quartz Stokes, Nautica Deantria Coleman, Nautia Zantria Coleman, Norman Billy Gene Coleman, Jr., Louis Elvira Stokes, Nathaneal Coleman, Tieasha Powell and Armani Thompson; his siblings, Samuel Stokes (Sharon), Arthur Coleman-Lofton, Gary Newton (Chrishauna), Edward Stokes (Lashanda Jones), Dominique Stokes, Latoya Varnado (Kenneth), Luvenia Stokes, Latasha Foster (Benjamin) and Meatrice Coleman; and his godchildren, Dwight Curtis Sylves, Mya Ray, Sharonda Victor, Sharadi Perryman, Shawn Brown and Javon Alaxander. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
