He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Waldemar and Isabelle Waldemar (King); his wife Betty; his siblings, Robert Waldemar, Dean Waldemar and Beatrice Lankey; and his significant other Loretta.

He is survived by: his siblings, Kenneth Waldemar of Florida and Delories Oeltjen of Spring Valley, MN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
