She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah Ritchey and Myrtle Ritchey (Hildebrand); her husband George Charles Van Hoozer; and her siblings, Harvey, Robert Ritchey, Ruth Brubaker, Ethel Thompson, Maxine Reynolds and Donna Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Kacher (Rick) of Ada, Michigan and Scott Van Hoozer (Pam) of Nikolaevsk, Alaska; and her grandchildren, Darin Kacher (Julie), Nicholas Kacher (Tara), Melissa Harshbarger (John) and Amy Shane Thompson (Josh). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
