She was predeceased by: her parents, William Brocka and Annie Brocka (Heerks); her spouse Herald R. Meyer; and her siblings, Harvey, Chris, Evert Brocka and Susie Cordes.
She is survived by: her daughter Alvina VanderWerf (Wayne) of Cedar Falls; and her grandchildren, Rod VanderWerf (Kathy Lenius) of Cedar Falls, Sheila Beck (Mark) of Omaha, NE and Russell VanderWerf (Jan) of Ankeny. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
