He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lester Owen Perkins and Shirley Perkins (Nelson); his siblings, Rick Perkins, Teri Perkins Frye of Marshalltown and Cheryl Perkins Susie of Alliance, OH; and his half-sister Connie Loots of Kansas City, MO.. He was also cherished by his daughters, five grandchildren.
On the heels of the strokes, Parkinson's disease set in, leaving Al totally disabled, and with Amy as his caregiver and companion.
