He was predeceased by: his parents, Wanda Mae Offenburger (Hickman) and Perry Offenburger; his brother-in-law Milton Sams (Sammy); his mother-in-law Virgie Sams; and his aunt Ruby Fenton.
He is survived by: his children, Connie Rae, Andrew Scott and Randy Joe; his wife Elizabeth Sams; his children, Dr. Larry Hirschy, Brenda Offenburger and Cindy Offenburger; his grandchildren, Luke, Jenny Hirschy, Isaac, Christy Hirschy, Christopher Querrey, Benjamin, Hannah Offenburger, Noah Offenburger (Kenzie Smith), Emma Offenburger and Tate Offenburger; and his great grandchildren, Jonah, Oliver, Simon Hirschy, Eve, Ezra, Boaz, Tovin, Zara Hirschy, Cahde, Callahn, Cohler, Cahble Querrey, Eyla and Ivan Offenburger.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Chariton, Gideons International, or the Lucas County Veterans Memorial Park.
