He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Roscoe and Blanche Emmaline Reighard (Statler); his children, Phyllis Reighard and Jeffrey Reighard; and his siblings, Allen, Caroll, Gailen Reighard, Joyce Chance and Iva Burkett.
He is survived by: his wife Sally of Washington, Iowa; his sons, Joel (Janet Reighard) of Burlington, Iowa and Brian (Susan Reighard) of DeWitt, Iowa; and his siblings-in-law, Ruth (Ray Meth) and John Crom. He is also survived by one brother; along with 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
