Thomas E. Vittetoe Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas E. Vittetoe (Washington, Iowa), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 23, 2025 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Clarabell M. Vittetoe (Ledger); his mother-in-law Sharon Evans; and his brother-in-law Terry Evans. He is survived by: his father Wilfrid J. "Bill" Vittetoe; his wife Tammy Vittetoe; his children, Josh Vittetoe (Amy), Jonathan Vittetoe (Crystal), Jenahlee Chamberlain (Nathan Arnold), Jacayla Milledge (Seth), Joel Vittetoe (Niki) and Johannah Neff (AJ); his siblings, Kathleen Thornton, Jerome Vittetoe (Heidi), Mary Beth DeWall (Steve) and Sue Rich (Brett); his father-in-law Paul "Butch" Evans; and his brother-in-law Tom "LT" Evans (Julie). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, with two more on the way; father.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St. James Catholic Church (602 W 2nd St, Washington, IA 52353). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to create an agriculture scholarship in Tom's memory.
