He is survived by: his wife Cindy Shepherd of Washington, Iowa; his children, Zach Shepherd (Beth) of Washington, Iowa, Jill Peterson (Mat) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Luke Shepherd (Missy) of Grinnell, Iowa, Amy Rowedder (Derek) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Anna Dice (Michael) of Omaha, Nebraska; and his siblings, Vickie Kintzel (Jay) of Longmont, Colorado, Ann Rowland of Naples, Florida, Jana Barnard (Rick) of Indianola, Iowa, Rob Shepherd (Dawn) of Naples, Florida and Beth Hartz of Menomonie, Wisconsin. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
