He is survived by: his parent Mary Ann Paul (Bauer); his wife Beth Paul of Washington, Iowa; his children, Schuyler Paul of Washington, Iowa, Whitney Paul of Washington, Iowa, Paige Paul of Ainsworth, Iowa and Shannyn Paul of Washington, Iowa; his granddaughters, Layla Hesser and Sadie Paul; his father Richard Paul of Washington, Iowa; his siblings, Bruce Paul (Mary Kay) of Ft. Dodge, Iowa, Craig Paul (Leslie) of Washington, Iowa, Sharon Kleinau (Rich) of Washington, Iowa and Debra Brinkman (Ivan) of Cedar Rapids; his parent-in-law Frank; and his siblings-in-law, Tina Bruty of Washington, Iowa, Greg "Bud" Bruty (Debbie) of Washington, Iowa and Walter Bruty of Washington, Iowa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for an education fund for Steve's grandchildren.
