It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Applegate (Washington, Iowa), who passed away on June 11, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Applegate and Anita Applegate (Havel); and her siblings, Robert Applegate (Bonnie) and Elizabeth Carr (Walt). She is survived by: her brother Larry Applegate (Sue) of Ainsworth, IA; her nephew Lee Applegate; her nieces, Lori Eddings (Rich), Yvonne Boone and Jeanette Wasson (Jerry); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Averi Eddings, Shalane Harnden (Jon), Dalton Applegate, Levi Applegate, Jace Eddings and Shane Wasson (Angie). She is also survived by 5 great-great-nephews; and 1 great-great-niece.
