With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sheryl Sue Proenneke of Washington, Iowa, who passed away on December 26, 2022 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Voltenburg and Pearl Van Voltenburg (Appleby); and her nephew Chad Van Voltenburg. She is survived by: her husband Keith Proenneke; her children, Mindy Herring (Larry) of Washington, Iowa, Andrea Malcom (Andy) of Burlington, Iowa and Daniel Peek (Angela) of Washington, Iowa; her grandchildren, Rady, Logan, Brenton, Addison, Brooke, Maddyx and Brandon; and her siblings, Jerry Van Voltenburg of Kinross, Iowa, Ronnie Van Voltenburg (Sharon) of Grinnell, Iowa and Diane Toomer of Clinton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
