She was predeceased by: her brother-in-law Ruby Snyder (Roger); and her niece Rochelle Snyder. She is survived by: her husband Richard Eugene Thornton; her children, Charlotte Mercer, Richard Jones (Wendy) and Nancy Hanlon; her grandchildren, Clayton Jones, Holden Jones (Cassie), Nathan Pendergraft, Rose Hanlon and Craig Hanlon; her great grandchildren, Findley Jones and Austyn Pendergraft; her siblings, Robin Ater and Roger Ater (Wendy Adams); and also Larry Stewart (Dorothy). She is also survived by her parents; sister.
