She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Leoffler and Darlene Leoffler (Wheaton); her husband Robert Ayers; her son Steve Tinnes; her grandchildren, Zachary Tinnes and Amanda Tinnes; her great grandchild Leighton Horning; and her son-in-law Phil Zielstorf.
She is survived by: her children, Dale Tinnes (Gail) of Wellman, Iowa, Sandy Tinnes of Keota, Iowa, Marcy Hagans (Rick) of Washington, Iowa and Larry Tinnes of Keota, Iowa; her daughter-in-law Kim Tinnes of Ollie, Iowa; her siblings, Cara Cameron and Alvin Wheaton; and her close friend Jerry King. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home (116 E Main St, Washington, IA 52353). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Jones - Eden Funeral Home (116 E Main St, Washington, IA 52353).
