He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Oliver and Theresa Edna Davis (Schnack); and his brother-in-law Ivan Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Lila June Davis of Washington, IA; his children, Craig A. Davis (Jane Noble Davis) of Washington, IA and Coleen R. Watson (Michael) of Sterling, AK; his grandchildren, Thomas Davis (Grace Marengo Sanchez) of San Antonio, TX, Maria Davis Hochstedler (Reggie) of Coralville, IA, Kristin Davis Pierce (Bryce) of Perry, IA, Jacob Watson of State College, PA and Delaney Watson of Rohnert Park, CA; his great grandchild Esther Davis of San Antonio, TX; his brother Richard Davis (Sandy); and his sister-in-law Sharon Nelson of Shelby, IA. He is also survived by five nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established for the Harlan Community School District Helping Hands Fund.
