He is survived by: his siblings, David Reed of Washington, Iowa, Bernice Darby of Washington, Iowa, Melinda Lord of Washington, Iowa and Nicholas J. Reed (Sue) of Washington, Iowa. He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews, and nine great nieces and nephews.
