It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Pope of Washington, Iowa, born in Fairfield, Iowa, who passed away on October 13, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Pope and Wilma Pope (Johnston); his stepfather Howard Smith; his sister Louise Dick; his brother-in-law Chuck Timmerman; and his nephew Rick Timmerman.

He is survived by: his wife Gayle Pope of Washington, IA; his sons, Andrew Pope and Monte Pope (Rhonda) of Burlington, KY; his grandchildren, Grant, Malayna and Coleman; his sister Evelyn Danielson (Bob) of Fairfield, IA; and his brothers-in-law, Gary Page of Hillsboro, IA, Jim Dick of Douds, IA and Max.

Memorials have been established for the American Parkinson's Disease Association and Paws & More Animal Shelter.
