It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert J. Jones of Washington, Iowa, born in Brighton, Iowa, who passed away on February 5, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Wesley and Mildred Ferne Jones (Dunbar); and his sister Carolyn Fay Eyestone. He is survived by: his wife Shirley A. Burlingame of Washington, Iowa; his children, Pamela Jones Edwards (Teryl) of Dysart, Iowa and Doug Jones (Stacey) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and his stepchildren, Mindy Roberts of Overland Park, Kansas and Jon Burlingame of Washington, Iowa. He is also survived by four grandchildren; five great grandchildren, six step-grandchildren; seven step-great grandchildren.
