He is survived by: his wife Winnie Friese of Washington; his children, Brenda Roth (Terry) of Grand Island, Jayne Friese of Washington, Mary Lou Shelangoski (Gordon) of Brighton, Dennis Friese (Angie) of Washington and David Friese (Mary Beth Stout) of Washington; his grandchildren, Dustin Roth (Ashley), Jordan Roth, Kasey, Tanner Roth, Scott McGuire (Fairlight), Alyssa Clarke (Blaine), Kenzie, Myles, Kylie Schmitt (John), Wyatt Shelangoski, Tyler Friese (Staci), Carson, Cameron, Natalie Horesowsky (Justin), Sydney, Travis Friese, Ben Tebockhorst, Alex Tebockhorst and Ryan Friese; his sisters, Mary Catherine Escher (Warren), JoAnn Gent (Terry), Donna Mae Moeller (Bernard), Marilyn Nebel (Bob) and Coni Waters (Ev); and his sister-in-law Teresa Friese.
Memorials have been established for Hospice of Washington County or the Alzheimer's Association.
