She was predeceased by: her parents, Leland Wheeler and Leona May Wheeler (Stapp); and her siblings, Jerry Wheeler and Susan Peppers. She is survived by: her children, Amy DeWolf, Lee Applegate of Washington and Jamie Grimm of Center Point; her grandchildren, Bailey Graber, Abbi DeWolf, Bryce DeWolf and Cooper Grimm; and her siblings, Michael Wheeler of Washington, Nina Calvelage of Minnesota and Sherry Holmes (Jim) of Coweta.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Livestrong Foundation in memory of Rita.
