He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Ulin and Nettie Ulin (Vittetoe); his daughter Katy; and his siblings, Jeanette Adams, Shirley Watson and Roger Ulin.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen Hinnah; his sons, Michael Ulin (Wendi) of Washington, Iowa, Chad Ulin of Hiawatha, Iowa and Greg of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.; his grandsons, Seth Ulin (Kinsley) of Tennessee, Aidan and Alec Ulin of Washington, Iowa; and his siblings, Jearold Ulin of Oklahoma and Nancy Weber of Sigourney, Iowa..
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jones - Eden Funeral Home (116 E Main St, Washington, IA 52353). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the United Methodist Church (206 W 2nd St, Washington, IA 52353). A burial was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at the Bethel Cemetery.
Calling hours will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home, where the family will be present to receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. A memorial has been established for the Washington Athletic Booster Club.
