He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Snyder and Blanch Snyder (Banks); his daughter Toni Snyder; and his siblings, Melvin Snyder, Wilma Thompson, Virginia Swartzendruber and Lola Hammer.
He is survived by: his former wife Barb Wilson; his wife Sandy Snyder of Washington, Iowa; and his children, John Snyder (Barb) of Valparaiso, Indiana, Laura Snyder of Memphis, Michigan, Sandy K. Snyder of Iowa City, Iowa, Tony Tolander of Winfield, Iowa and Christopher Snyder (Marie Clausen) of Washington, Iowa. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A general memorial has been established The Jones & Eden Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
