He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Lyons (Bud) and Bernadene Gallaher Lyons; and his sister-in-law Janice Lyons. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Bruty Lyons of Washington, Iowa; his children, Patrick Lyons (Ann) of Cedar Falls, Debra Stewart (David) and Michael Lyons (Erina) of Huxley, Iowa; his grandchildren, Wesley Lyons (Adam), Bailey Lawler (Kenny) and Miya Lyons; his great grandchildren, Desmond Lawler and Ruby Lawler; his daughter-in-law Sandy Reeg (Ryan) of Dubuque; and his siblings, Don Lyons of Traer, Iowa and Mary Oakley (Pete) of Camdenton, Missouri.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home (116 E Main St, Washington, IA 52353). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Jones - Eden Funeral Home (116 E Main St, Washington, IA 52353).
