Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 12:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (1226 E Washington St, Washington, IA 52353). A burial was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Elm Grove Cemetery (1101 S Ave E, Washington, IA 52353).
In support of his student Russell Crone, he was proud to have been one of four national essay finalist teams in the 1983 Middle East Cross-Cultural Tour sponsored by the Arab Women's Council and Attyeh Foundation.
