She was predeceased by: her parents, Verner Amenell and Violet Amenell (Gustafson); and her siblings, Verner Eugene Amenell, Karen Hedges and Judy Thomas.

She is survived by: her husband Edward Jarrard of Washington, Iowa; her children, Diane McKenzie (Bill) of Madison, Wisconsin, Carol Enfield (Doug) of Crawfordsville, Iowa, Brian Jarrard (Ly) of Torrance, California and Andy Jarrard (Pam) of Solon, Iowa; her grandchildren, Katie, Abbie, Rachel, Rebecca, Regan, Brenden and Leona; her brother Richard Amenell (Joyce) of Spokane, Washington; and her brothers-in-law, Sandy Hedges and Keith Thomas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
