It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pauline M. Shafer (Washington, Iowa), who passed away on May 19, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Johnson and Madge Marie Johnson (Brock); her husband Butch Shafer; her son Jamy M. "Jamey" Shafer; and her sisters, Vera Wagenknecht and Linda Crossett.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Tiffany Crawford (Matt) of Washington, Iowa, Jason Shafer (Mariah) of Wisconsin, Melissa Shafer (Amber) of Wellman, Iowa and Dakota Shafer of Washington, Iowa; and her siblings, Connie Rockhold of Huntsville, Alabama, Paul "PeeWee" Johnson, Rhonda Wharton (Craig) of Brighton, Iowa and Tammy Bryan (Dave) of Iowa City, Iowa. She is also survived by two great grandchildren.
