With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Oleta Keifer (Washington, Iowa), born in Wayland, Iowa, who passed away on April 12, 2020 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Boese and Lela Boese (Bain); and her husband Howard Keifer. She is survived by: her sons, Doug Keifer (Joan) of Ankeny, IA and Jim Keifer (Kathy) of Kalona, IA; her grandchildren, Jamie Jones (Pete), Ryan Keifer (Katya) and Neil Keifer (Haley); her great grandchildren, Harper, Asher Jones, Miles, Emma and Neve Keifer; and her sister-in-law Anita Keifer of Iowa City.
Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family will be having public services at a later time.
