It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Blain of Washington, Iowa, born in Oskaloosa, Iowa, who passed away on November 30, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe Day and Clella Day; her husband Gary Blain; her son Curt; and her brother-in-law Marvin Blain.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Valerie Blain of Arlington, Texas; her daughters, Angie Gretter (Kenny) of Harper and Jeanna Hills (Matt) of West Branch; her grandchildren, Jacob Blain (Lacey), Jillian Blain, Michaela Tinnes (Nathan), Jerica Plummer (Shane), Blaine Gretter (Callie), Sarina Gretter, Austin, Mattie, Gavin and Nathan Hills; her great grandchildren, Chase, Merritt, Cole Blain, Milo, Boyd, Evelyn Tinnes, Aubrey and Elloise Plummer; her sister Gerry Sproule (John) of Washington; and her sisters-in-law, Kathy Blain and Jean Axtell (Charlie). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
