He was predeceased by: his parents, William Luers and Rosalie Luers (Romberg); his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Agnes Molyneux; his siblings, Ruth Conrad and Dean Luers; and his friend Adele McPike.
He is survived by: his children, Edwin Luers (Rita) of Keota, Iowa and LuAnn Pack (Bill); and his grandchildren, Lora Banister (Joel), Lisa Van Der (Willie), Lynnae Callison (Shane), Will Luers (Melissa), Tanner Pack and Ramsey Pack. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
