He is survived by: his wife Karen of Washington, Iowa; his children, Emilee Jones (Greg) of Washington, Iowa, Ellyn Hildebrand (Keith) of Wayland, Iowa and Robert Andrew (Melissa) of Washington, Iowa; his grandchildren, Myles Jones, Kohl, Kinsey Hildebrand, Kayla, Kaden and Karter Andrew; and his siblings, Bernhard Schimmer (Christa) of Germany and Mary Kay Werning (David) of Des Moines, Iowa..
