She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Lukavsky and Margaret Lukavsky (Suffael); and her siblings, Darlene, Bernice and Frank.
She is survived by: her former husband Gilbert Mitchell; her children, Peggy Jo Gingerich of Wayland, IA and Guy Mitchell (Diane) of Brighton, IA; her granddaughters, Jennifer Fagen (Kirk) of Keota, IA and Jamie Kinzenbaw (Jeremy) of Keota, IA; her great grandchildren, Case Fagen, Jace and Jordyn Kinzenbaw; and her sister Joan Palmer (Tom) of Washington, IA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
