She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul F. Evans and Alberta Evans (Godfrey); her siblings-in-law, Sharon Evans, Mary Lou Krotz (Wilbur), Dwayne Shaffer and Rod Raper; and her nephew Terry Evans.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Coon; her siblings, Paul Evans, Carol Greiner (Dave) of Washington, Iowa. and Tim Evans (Michal) of Washington, Iowa; her sisters-in-law, Carolyn Shaffer of Missouri, Linda Raper of Oklahoma and Shirley Pace (Nick) of California; and her nieces and nephews, Tammy Vittetoe of Washington, Iowa, Tom Evans of Washington, Iowa, Bret Greiner of Washington, Iowa, Tyler Evans of Washington, Iowa, Tenia Fogle of Washington, Iowa, Tara Roberts of Mooresville and Elizabeth Schaapveld of North Liberty, Iowa.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jones - Eden Funeral Home (116 E Main St, Washington, IA 52353). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. James Catholic Church (602 W 2nd St, Washington, IA 52353).
Memorials have been established for Sonshine Outreach of Washington or the American Heart Association.
