She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl J. Ulbrich and Leona Ulbrich (Bahl); her husband Bill Oviatt; her brothers, Carl Ulbrich, Jerome Ulbrich and Robert Ulbrich; and her siblings-in-law, Fran Ulbrich, Janice Ulbrich and John Jenks.
She is survived by: her stepsons, Greg (Ellen) of Lumberville and Brad Oviatt of Mount Vernon, Ohio; her stepgranddaughters, Rachael Oviatt of West Virginia and Suzie Mesch (Stephen) of Virginia; her siblings, Paul Ulbrich of Guttenberg, Iowa, Rita Jenks of Oak Park, Illinois, Kay Gettler (Larry) of Ankeny, Iowa, Pat Ulbrich (Claus Makowka) of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania and Linda Ulbrich (LaVern Pritchard) of Minneapolis, Minnesota; and her sister-in-law Gail Ulbrich of Anchorage, Alaska. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials have been established for Alzheimer's Association, American Heart Association, and Iowa Public Radio.
