She was predeceased by: her parents, Fern Wiley and Ella Anna Hulen (McCartney); her husband Raymond Leroy Lasek; and her brothers, Gene and Richard Hulen.
She is survived by: her children, Bryan Ray Lasek (Colleen) of Ainsworth, Iowa and Robyn Peck of Washington, Iowa; her grandsons, Jesse Lasek (Betsy) of Ainsworth, Iowa, Blake Lasek of Ainsworth, Iowa, Richard Simmons (Samantha) of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa and Ray Simmons (Janeene) of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa; and her great grandchildren, Preston Lasek, Richard Simmons and Ryan Simmons.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for the Ainsworth Community Church, Ainsworth Opera House or the American Home Finding Association in Ottumwa, Iowa.
