He is survived by: his daughters, Shannon Unternahrer (JD) of Washington, IA and Heather Sterner (Andy) of Washington, IA; his grandchildren, Marie Swalin (Matt), Michael, Tony, Adrian, Braxton Unternahrer, David, Kinser and Frances Cortum; his great grandchildren, Maylee Swalin and Madisyn Swalin; his siblings, Mark Milligan (Carolyn) of Wheaton, IL, Marcia Faust (Mike) and Tom Milligan (Deb Kennedy) of Amana, IA; and his sisters-in-law, Pat Milligan of Des Moines, IA and Maxine Bruinekool of Des Moines, IA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
