The passing of Larry J. Fritz of Washington, Iowa leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on March 31, 2025 at the age of 73. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Fritz and Genevieve Kurtz Fritz; and his sisters, Jean Bates and Sharon Redlinger. He is survived by: his children, Jacob Fritz (Angelina) of Oskaloosa, IA and Jamie Fritz of Washington, IA; his grandchildren, Rylee, Bailee, Nevaeh, Huxxley and Hayden; his wife Pat Fritz of Washington, IA; his brother Gary Fritz (Arlene) of Brighton, IA; and his sisters-in-law, Priscilla Reighard (Dale) of Washington, IA and Barb Letcher of Washington, IA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Saint James Catholic Church (602 W 2nd St, Washington, IA 52353). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions in Larry's honor may be directed to "Paws and More" in Washington or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
