He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester M. Neil and Beulah Neil (Van Syoc); and his siblings, Velda Neil, Ronald Neil, Viola Crawford, Robert Neil, Edward Neil and Duane Neil.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Neil of Washington, Iowa; his children, Craig Neil (Hazel) of Des Moines, Iowa, Keith Neil of Omaha, Nebraska, Bradley Neil (Hardeav) of Troy, Michigan, Scott Neil (Alice Stoner) of Washington, Iowa and Kathy Brookhart (Don) of Wayland, Iowa; his grandchildren, Eric Neil, Tiffany Neil, Zach Neil, Sara Frazier, Colin Neil, Megan Twine, Evan Neil, Elizabeth Neil, Cody Neil, Ashley Peterson and Justin Allison; and his brothers, John Neil of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa and Wilbur Neil (Joan) of Gilbertsville, Kentucky.. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
