With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Helen McCreedy of Washington, Iowa, born in Gilmore City, Iowa, who passed away on December 9, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob William and Mildred Mozell Altman (Hoffman); and her husband Wilfred L. McCreedy. She is survived by: her children, Gary McCreedy of Ainsworth, Iowa, Dale McCreedy of Anamosa, Iowa, Jill Hubbard (Tony) of Denver, Colorado and Nancy McCreedy of Washington, Iowa; her grandsons, Colton Covington (Mackenzie) and Garrett Covington; her great grandchild Parker Covington; and her siblings, Mardell Jacobson (Earl) of Waseca, Minnesota, Douglas Altman (Karen) of Ankeny, Iowa, Paul Altman (Smitty) of Green Acres, Florida and David Altman (Sandy) of Coon Rapids, Iowa. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
