She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Friese and Mary Friese; her in-laws, Francis and Irma Gent; and her brothers, Robert Friese, Francis Friese, Walter Friese and Willard Friese.

She is survived by: her husband Terry Gent; her children, Kevin Gent (Linda), John Gent (Cathy), Char Brenneman (Rob), Steve Gent (Susan) and Glenda McWilliams; her sisters, Mary Catherine Escher, Donna Mae Moeller, Marilyn Nebel (Bob) and Connie Waters; and her sisters-in-law, Jane Gent, Donna Tinnes (Ron), Winnie Gent, Teresa Friese and Winnie Friese. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.
