He was predeceased by: his parents, James Martin and Lora Lucille Munn (Gordner); his sister Peggy Carroll; and his close friend Tom Carroll. He is survived by: his spouse Oma Fern Huggins; his children, Teresa Munn of Washington, IA, Anita Moore (George) of Washington, IA, Dana Rembold (Craig) of Washington, IA, Danny Munn of Washington, IA and Russell Munn of Washington, IA; his grandsons, Bradley Sullivan, Brian Sullivan (Danielle), Mark Moore (Jesica) and Steven Moore (Jessica); his great grandchildren, Alison Moore and Haley Sullivan; and his siblings, Pattie Wray (Willard) and Jerry Munn (Jane) of Hedrick, IA..

Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the family will not be having a public memorial at this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for the United Methodist Church, WCDC and Washington County Pheasants Forever.
