Irwin Hanson Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 23, 2021, at the age of 83, Irwin Hanson of Washington, Iowa, born in Brighton, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Nels Hanson and Sylvia Hanson (Hesseltine); his wife Phyllis Gier; his children, Mary Sypherd (Michael) of Ainsworth and Ervon Hanson of Washington; his grandchildren, Jamie Sturm (Robert) and Michael Sypherd II (Kasandra); his son George Hanson; and his granddaughter Phoenyx Sturm. He was also cherished by seven great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established for the family's use.
